National Accounting Manager - Sydney
We are currently seeking a National Accounting Manager to join our Sydney office who will be responsible for the functional control of a small team.
This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer and includes the following duties:
- Oversee the Firm’s practice management system, ensuring all financial information is correctly processed and entered.
- Review Firm accounting principles, practices, policies and procedures to ensure they are current and provide optimal efficiency.
- Review systems of internal controls, checks and balances which promote the integrity of accounting information and the protection of the Firm’s assets.
- Consolidation of regular reports, budgets and forecasts.
- Prepare schedules for financial reporting.
- Manage direct and indirect obligations including GST, FBT and BAS returns and annual income tax returns for all operating entities.
- Manage operating leases and invoicing.
Previous experience in a similar role is important, preferably in the professional services industry. Your ability to prioritise and meet deadlines, your high level of accuracy and eye for detail will be key skills to succeed in this role.

Media/Entertainment Lawyer - Melbourne

The successful candidate must have an entertainment/media passion, along with commercial and IP experience. Litigation experience or a desire to work in this field is also essential.
