Health Lawyer - Brisbane

We have an exciting opportunity for a Lawyer with a minimum of 3 years Health Law experience to join our team in Brisbane.  Working with our Health Law practice is an opportunity to work in a fast moving, challenging and growing national practice.

Joining our Health Law team will offer you access to our clients, with a mix of front end drafting work as well as involvement in challenging medical negligence matters.  Litigation experience is preferred and a ‘can do’ and flexible attitude is a must.  To support you in your career we provide Partner mentoring, together with structured professional development programs. 

Ideally you will have previous experience with health law and/or insurance matters. You will certainly have a demonstrated analytical capacity of a high order, strong drafting skills, a good academic record and the ability to develop strong client relationships.

Commercial Litigation Lawyer - Melbourne

Accounts Payable Officer - Sydney

We have an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable Officer to join our Sydney office.

Reporting to the National Accounting Manager, the duties of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Managing the Firms Accounts Payable function
• Implementing and improving Accounts Payable policies and procedures
• Attending to payment of all creditors
• Maintaining detailed records on suppliers, operating lease documents and cost summaries
• Reporting requirements
• Providing support to legal and support members with regards to creditor queries
• Maintaining petty cash balances
• Preparing daily bank reconciliations

Previous experience in a similar role is essential, preferably in the legal services industry. Ideally you will have exposure to payroll, though this is not essential.  Your ability to prioritise and meet deadlines, your high level of accuracy and eye for detail will be key skills to succeed in this role.
