COMPETITION & CONSUMER LAW

Overview

TressCox has a team of lawyers who provide informed, intelligent and creative competition law services to our clients. Our competition law experts do not merely help clients in the management of the issues they face – we assist businesses to utilise their competitive advantages and turn them into commercial opportunities without breaching their legal obligations. We can also advise clients about the competition law aspects of the conduct of their competitors, customers and suppliers and, where appropriate, conduct private enforcement proceedings.

We also provide sensible, innovative and cost-effective dispute resolution services and are highly experienced in all aspects of defending prosecutions and other claims brought under the Competition and Consumer Act. We regularly deal with complaints by competitors, ACCC investigations and s.155 Notices, negotiating with ACCC Commissioners and government lawyers, as well as run court actions at trial and appellate levels.
