Overview

The TressCox Government team have an in-depth understanding of the commercial, political and business sensitivities unique to government departments and agencies particularly in the context of procurement and probity.  TressCox have acted for a range of Commonwealth, state and local level government agencies and have invaluable experience and knowledge in relation to specific requirements and issues relevant at each level of government.

Our Experience

We act for Commonwealth, State and Local Government clients.

Commonwealth

We are appointed to the Commonwealth Legal Services Multi-Use List in all 3 areas for which we applied:

  • Government and Administrative Law;
  • Corporate and Commercial Law; and
  • Dispute Resolution and Litigation.

State Government

At a state government level, we have been appointed to a number of panels including the Queensland Government Chief Procurement Office procurement panel, the Whole of Victorian Government Probity Practitioner Services Panel and the Whole of ACT Government Probity Auditing Panel. We are also one of only a small number of panel firms for Queensland Health.

In NSW, the Firm acts for a large number of government departments and agencies including AusGrid, Transport NSW, State Transit Authority of NSW, Department of Finance and Services, NSW Land and Housing Corporation, Landcom, Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority, Essential Energy, Sydney Water and Property Management Authority.
