Overview

The TressCox Property Team offers extensive legal services to assist clients with their property requirements. The team provides a complete legal solution that focuses on containing costs and ensuring prompt and efficient delivery of services. The Property Team works closely with other areas of the firm, including banking and finance (on developments) and the commercial team to ensure that the necessary expertise is always available.

Our services include the traditional areas of property such as commercial sales, acquisitions and leasing as well as the more complex areas such as property due diligence, easements and put and call options on developments.

Our clients include government departments, oil companies, property developers, large corporations and financial institutions.

We are well known for our understanding of the unique requirements of government clients. Where necessary, our property team works closely with our tendering and probity experts, and we have carried out disposals, long term leases, tenders and public auctions of contaminated sites, waterfront land and other government owned land requiring particular attention.

Members of our property team are on the Law Society of NSW Property Law Committee and the Law Society of NSW Environmental Planning and Development Committee. Our firm is responsible for drafting and updating the Law Society’s property precedents.
