Expertise
Paul specialises in environment and planning law including compulsory acquisitions, heritage issues and appeals to the Land and Environment Court. He has a Masters Degree in Urban and Regional Planning and over 10 years experience practice environmental and planning law. His clients include developers, corporations, local councils and public authorities.
Paul has a strong practical background having worked in the areas of town planning, environmental compliance and corporate governance with one of Sydney's largest metropolitan councils before being admitted to practice law. With his 'hands on' experience, Paul is able to provide clients with practical and effective advice which is responsive to suit their needs.
Manly Council has appointed Paul the chair person of the Manly Independent Assessment Panel (MIAP) for all section 82A review applications.
Paul regularly appears in the Land and Environment Court of NSW as a solicitor‑ advocate in development appeals, injunctive actions and environmental prosecutions. His practice also extends to conducting environmental prosecutions on behalf of local councils and defending matters in the Local Court.
Paul is a member of the Property Council of Australia.
