Expertise
Nigel is a corporate and commercial lawyer with a practice focusing on corporate reconstruction and insolvency, infrastructure projects, the auto industry and trade practices law. He also advises the lawyer’s professional indemnity insurer in relation to claims against lawyers arising out of corporate and commercial transactions.
Nigel is a past Chairman and current member of the Insolvency & Reconstruction Committee of the Business Law Section of the Law Council of Australia. Nigel is accredited by the Law Institute of Victoria as a specialist commercial litigator.
Nigel Watson is listed in the Asian In-House Handbook (2008/2009) for Restructuring & Insolvency. And has also been selected for inclusion in the Asia Pacific Legal 500 (2007/2008) for Dispute Resolution and (2009/2010) for Restructuring and Insolvency.
